So far as the campaigns are concerned, chief interest attaches to .the continued success of the Russians, in the Caucasus. They haye captured a miles east- of Erzeram, and cavalry drove the Turks into the outlying Erzerum forts; : inflicting •reports are still current concerning the recent negotiations in Montenegro, hut there are renewed statements that fighting has been resumed. Several interesting items deal with Rumania, and indicate her leaning towards the Allies. In conneotion with the strio ter Allied blockade, it js announced that Denmark has prohibited the export of ■ butter, and' Sweden the export of one olasa of wood-pulp. A Washington report states that' the United States Navy Department has advised the Government that England ha? sufficient ships to enforce an aotual blockade effectually without, difficulty.
