Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held - their usual Thursday sale at Palmerston North yaids, when they offered a. fair yarding of stock. - They quote -as follows:—Three-year steeds, £7 65.; two-year steers, £5 45.; mixed weaners, 316. 6d.; springing heifers, £4 10s.; store cows, £4 195.; fat cows, £8 17s;; lambs, 9s. 7d. to - 155.; fat wethers, 235.; e.m. ewes, 12s. to 17s.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, Pdlmerston • North, report having a small entry of stook at their Mangaweka sale on Thursday, ell of which met with a ready sale at the following prices Mixed cull lambs, 7s. 1 8d.; shorn ewe lambs, las. lid.; shorn wether lambU 126. 9d,; mixed weanera, 355.; yearling heifers, £2 155.; eighteen-month steers, £6; dairy cows, £9; empty cows, £6'; fat cows, £8 ICs. The Not .Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their Levin yards on Wednesday they offered a good entjry* of sheep, and an exceptionally heavy yarding of cattle. Competition was keen throughout the sale, which enabled them to clear the whole of their yarding (with the exception of, several pons, of young cattle) at most- satisfactory prices to tho vendors.
