Li reply to a question in the Housa of Commons, as to whether there was any hops of tracing the large numbere of officers and men who had been reported missing on Gallipoli, Lord Robert Cecil (Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs) repliod that tho Foreign Office, had found great difficulty, owing to th& character of tho Turkish administration, in getting information, but was constantly communicating with the American Ambassador at Constants nople on the subject.
