SUMMARY AND\FORECAST AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications &to for mriablo ■winds, with moderate to strong southerließ prevailing generally. Expect dull and misty conditions at times, with scattered rain. Barometer unsteady. The weather has been changeable generally. and rain has fallen in various parts southward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint. Moderate to strong -westerly winds have prevailed in the north, and southerlies in the South -Island. Tho barometer has recorded little change of atmospheric pressure. B. Y. PEMBERTON.
