Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Mann have returned to C4isborne, after a holiday trip to the Cold Lakes. Mrs. Henry Bsdfield and family left for Nelson yesterday. The death occurred at 26 High' Street, Petoue, on Tuesday, of Mrs. B. Cairns, wife of Mr. Patrick Cairns, both very old residents of Petone. ■ Tho late . Mrs. Cairns arrived with her husband in New Zealand some. 43 years ago, and after residing in the Wairarapa district settled at Petone,. where they resided for' 3d years. Mrs. Cairns, who was born in County Armagh, Ireland, and was seventy years of ago, leaves a grown-up family of sons and daughters —Mrs. O.
