POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK

RECORD DEPOSITS. Sit Joseph Ward informed a representative of The Dominion yesterday that the excess of deposits over withdrawals in tlie Post Office Savings Bank for the twelve months ended December 31 last was £2,411,083, the highest amount at credit of depositors for twelve months in the history of the Dominion. The amount of deposits for tho year was £13,706,057, and the withdrawals £11,294,974.
