SUMMARY AND FORECAST AT « P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for a foiling barometer everywhere soon, moderate to , strong northerly and westerly winds prevailing, and increasing strong to gale in and southward of Cook Strait. Bain is probable in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the, South Island shortly. Warm and hazy weather is likely elsewhere, but with increasing cloudiness and unsettled conditions following generally. Fair weather has been experienced generally during the past few days, but scattered showers have been reported to-day in Otago.
