FEBRUARY DRAFT WELLINGTON DISTRICT DOING WELL INFANTRY WANTED The Wellington Military District, which did so well regarding the raising of the lith Reinforcements, is already in a very strong ]>osition respecting the 13th Reinforcements. The 12th wero mobilised less than a week ago, /and the 13th do not go into camp tillll'ebruary. 8, but the district has secured three-quarters of the Infantry and all tho rest of the men it requires for the February draft. One portion of the district (Wairarapa) has actually secured its Infantry quota. There are live groups in the Wellington Military District: —

Group s—Wellingtons—Wellington City and Suburbs. Group 6—Manawaiu and Wangauui. Group 7 —Hawke's Bay and Poverty Bay. Group 7a —Wairarapa. Group B—Tarauaki.8 —Tarauaki.
