SIR THOMAS MACKENZIE
FELICITATED ON REGENT KNIGHTHOOD. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Reo. January 16, 5.5 p.m.) London, January 14. 'lie New Zealand War Contingent Association met and congratulated Sir Thomas Mackenzie on his recent knight hood. Lord Plunket, Sir James Mills, Mr. R. D. Douglas M'Lean, and Mr. Gilbert Anderson, who were present, spoke. The speakers said that through the organisation of Sir Thomas Mackenzie's office they could meet war demands. Until Sir Thomas Mackenzie took up the Dominion's trade and finance problems, these had frequently been misunderstood. They paid a tribute to Lady Mackenzie's kindnesses to the wounded.
