ROUTE MARCH
Yesterday morning's route march [ was attended by twenty-eight men—a number of tlie original party being still absent from town. The route chosen, was through Brooklyn and Happ.v Valley to Island Bay and home, tie journney occupying under three hours. During an interval Captain Simson addressed the company, and announced that he hoped to havo a small party of returned soldiers present at next Sunday's walk. During next week-end a small party will walk from Greytown to Otaki, ovef Mount Hector, leaving Wellington on Friday afternoon, and returning on Monday afternoon. Tlio usual Sunday march will bo held, leaving Boulcott. Street at half-past nine, going through Wadestown to Ngaio, and returning through Ngahauranga Valley. On the next week-end it is proposed to have a full day's walk.
