SUPREME COURT PRISONERS APPEAR FOR SENTENCE Three prisoners appeared before the Chiof Justice (Sir Robert Stout) yesterday to be dealt with in regard to convictions standing against them. Jolin Mattson, an. elderly man who had pleaded guilty to five charges of false pretences, was sentenoed to fire months' imprisonment, and was declared to bo an habitual criminal. A Maori youth, Mata Hounuku, was remanded for a week on a conviction for indecent assault. Another youth, Albert Cole, appeared, and was set back a week respecting a breach of a probation order.
