RAID IN HAINING STREET

ELEVEN ARRESTS. A body of half-a-dozen Mount Cook police, under Senior-Sergeant ' Dew, raided Nos. 9, 44, and -16 Haiuing [Street last evening, and (on various charges) arrested six Chinese and five Europeans. The charges against tlie arrested men are laid under tlie Gaming Act and under the Opium Act. The police state that a large quantity of pakapoo tickets were found by the police.
