STOP.STOMACH DRUGGING
NEUTRALISE THE DANGEItOTJS ACID WITH A LITTLE MAGNESIA. Stomach drugging is dangerous. Drugs deader, the nerves aiul render lliem insensible to pain,'but pain serves a good purpose—it is nature's method of indicating that something is interfering with the smooth working of. the human organism. When tho fault is corrected, tho pain wilt cease. Pain after eating— heartburn, flatulence, etc., etc., usually indicates not. that the stomach is diseased, but that it is troubled by excessive acidity. Tho acid irritates and inflames tho delicate lining of the stomach, and so oauses pain. Obviously it is of prime importance, that the cause of this pain should bo removed, and. to accomplish this you should obtain some pure bisurated magnesia from your chemist and hike haif. a tpnspoonfnl ill a little water 'immediately after meals. This will inslaiitly neutralise the harmful acid in your slomach and prevent all possibility of food fermentation. Drugs do not overcome this acid—lliev simply deaden tho symptoms and give ii false sense of sccurily. That is why those who rely on drugs gradually becomo worse and worse, until the stomach itself bccomes actually dieeased.—Advt.
