The "Daily Mail's" commissioner, who has visited Scandinavia, declares that the German traders consider that the British blockade is the best joke of the war. A vast amount of Scandinavian, imports go to Germany, merely changing their labels. Trains and steamers' are taxed to the utmost. "I saw many vessels.from America' and elsewhere tranship at Malmo, Elsingborg, and Copenhagen direct for Germany. The - traffic glut is tremendous; Danish traders complain that"they cannot handle their own cargoes owing to the pressure of German-bound goods:" The Press commissioner the working of the system of consigning to accredited merchants, and declares, that it is.-useless making Britain i laughing-stock.
