SUMMARY AND FORECAST AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for unsettled and squally weather,. with rain generally and a cool - chango following. Expect high north Pwest to southwest winds. Barometer unsteady, but risine everywhere shortly. The baTometer has fallen considerably in the 60utli, and northerly and westerly winds have prevailed, increasing strong to gale to-day in and southward of Oook Strait. Oloudy and unsettled conditions have overspread the Dominion, and rain has fallen in many part 6 southward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint. 13. V. PI'IiUBEETON.
