Canada. Central America, West Indies, Mexico. States of Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, British, Dutch, and French Guiana, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, close at Auckland, per Mflkura, on Tuesday, January 25, at 8 a.m. As correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship, it is urged in order to avoid delays that such correspondence be posted in ample time for the mail, the day previous to its dispatch if possiblo. The parcel-post mall per Main Trunn express closes at tho C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and "for the south, per ferry steamer, at б.45 p.m. Lato letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future bo posted on tho steamers, but must be posted in the latelotter posting-box at the Ohief Post Office up to the appointed timo shown on tho moil notice. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains with the exception of tho usual ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised time of closing of moils. The advertised timo for closing mails by steamor? is liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. As the last clcarance of the city receivers is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for tho Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at tho Ohief Post Office not later than 8 p.m. ca Sunday.' All books and sample-packets and newspapers for placeo within the Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary lcfler-mail closcs. Unless otherwise 6pccificd, registered letters end parcels-post packages must be handed in and money-orders obtained ono hour before the ordinary mail' closes. Tho .public are earnestly requested to register ail letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post.
