THE RECRUITING SCHEME

SECRETARY TO BE APPOINTED. The Recruiting Board, consisting of tlio Prime Minister, the Defence Minister, and the Finance Minister, met yesterday to discuss the draft proposals for the recruiting campaign shortly to he undertaken. The proposals were discussed in dotail, and an- announcement pf the method of working will be made shortly. Ono of the decisions of the board was that a permanent secretary should be appointed to attend to tho work over which, the board will have supervision.
