WHAT GALLIPOLI HAS COST US. TOTAL CASUALTIES, 8108. The Ixise records office at Wellington has supplied the following particulars of the number of casualties to the New Zealand Forces up to and including January 3. These comprise 1101 officers'and men killed in action, 540 died of wounds, 21t died of disease, 2 died from cause unknown, 32 (including 10 nurses) drowned, GSG ir.issing/ 22' prisoners of war, and 5481 wounded. This gives a total of 1946 dead. The details are as under Officers. Men. Total.
