The Artillery Reinforcements,' each draft of which numbers about 160 men, are usually composed of men slightly above the average in hoiglit and physique, so that in spito of there being a number of smaller men among them the general effect, when seen in a body, is that they aro bigger than the average. The most striking body of artillerymen seen in the City was.probably a picket of twelve which patrolled the streets one night last week. The men belonged to the Ninth Reinforcements. Tho height of the least tall of them was 6ft. lin., and the tallest man was 6ft. 4in._ Needless to say, the picket was an imposing one, and was treated with a good deal of re-spect by the convivial soldiers.
