DEATH MOM HEART FAILURE. Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., completed tlio hearing of evidonce on Saturday, morning in tlio inquest connected with tho death of August Williams, a waterside worker, who died suddenly while employed on tho steamer Ocean Monarch last week. A verdict of death from heart failure was returned. A SOLDIER'S SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Pref?3 Association, Dunedin, January 9. Xf an early hour this morning in Dunedin Hospital, a returned soldier named William John Willis was found by one of tho nurses 'with his throat out, and a rajsor in his hand. Ho liad been brought back to New Zealand on the Maheno, and when admitted to tho hospital was suffering from dysentery. Deceased was a widower, and resided in Dunedin.
