MAHENO'S NURSING STAFF
THE APPOINTMENTS;' When the Hospital Ship Maheno again' leaves New Zealand, Miss J. Bickuell.. assistant matron of the ."New Zealand Army Nursing Service," will go as matron, of the ship. Miss A. Keddic, at present matron of the Trentham Military Hospital, will also be on the staff, and Miss Robins, assistant matron of the Auckland Hospital. The remaining nurses will be Sisters B. Brooks, JL Fisher, L. Kelly, A. Kilgour. A. Lloyd; G. Mason, C: Maclean; J. Nicholson, 31. Pownall, R. Sanderson, and F. Upton. The Ho'spital Ship is also taking fifty-two-nursea for, the various hospitals in Egypt and other places. Among the visitors ,to Napier at present are; —Mr. Allan Masters (Christchuroh), Mrs. and Miss F. Andrews (Wellington), Dr. and Mrs. Henry (Wellington), Mrs. and Miss (Wairarapa), Mr. Ferguson (Palmerston North), and the Rev. Father J. A. Eccleton (Wellington). The Store for travelling requisites, including Basjs, Hugs, and Trunks, is Herb. Price' 6, Willis Street.—Advt.

Harris and Sons, Marton, advertise for sale a 51-acre dairy farm, situated 1 in tho Taranaki district, : Messrs. C. R. Wilson and Co., Hastings, have a confectionery business for-sale in the Hawke's Bay district Mr. F. P. Welch, labour agent, Masterton, has vacancies for cooks, drivers, nav-' vies, farm hands, etc. . The N.Z: loan and Mercantile Agency are holding a stock sale at Waikonae on January 11.
