January 7, 8.50 p.m.) London, January 7. Sir Douglas Haig reports: "Eleven oi our aeroplanes bombed the stores depot at Lesars." GAS-MAKING PLANT. DESTROYED BY THE FRENCH. (Rec. January 7, 8.50 p.m.) Paris, Jauuary 7A_French communique says: "During an intense bombardment in the Champagne we destroyed an entiro gasmaking installation and several reservoirs exploded." GERMAN TRENCHES DESTROYED. (Rcc. January 7, 8.40 p.m.) Paris, January 6. A French .communique says: "Wo bombarded and destroyed German trenches in the Champagne." PASSINC TRAIN SHELLED. London, January 7, 1.15 a.m. The High Commissioner Teports:— South of Arras the station at Boisleaux was shelled, together with a passing train. In tho Champagne, north of Farm of Navarin, the material of a gas attack was destroyed by our guns.
