SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

Mrs. Jones arranged the concert last liigjht at the Sailors' Friend Society's Institute, when items that met ths popular taste were given. During the evening- Mr. Moore, missiorcer, who was in the chair, appealed for discarded books, magazines, etc., for use at sea. The performers were: The Misses Dorothy Jones, Mariorie Jones, Ivy Jones, awl Messrs. Williams, W. Wood', Robinson. Thomson, Val Jones, T. W. Jones, Butcher, and King (s.s Nerelinna). A. vote of thanks was responded to by Mrs. Jones.
