In the sheep section; in four classes for fat lambs, in addition to the association's prize money, three gold medals and a silver cup are offered; all to be won outright. Turnbull an<l Co.. litd., report having held their weekly sale in their Waipoua i (Jlaßterton) sale yards on Wednesday, when they yarded a good entry of sheep and c-a-ttle., Competition \throughout the sale was not as keen as was anticipated, but a. good clearance was made at the following pricesSlieep: U.F. rape lambs, 13s. lOd.: small B.F. lambs, Bs. Id.; f.m. store ewes, 14s. 3d. to 15s. lOd.; 2tooth wethers, 20s. 6d. Cattle: Fat cows, £8 55.; 3 and 4-year bullocks, £9 25.; 3-year steers, £7 2s. 6d. to £8; 18-month and 2year - steers, £6 65.; store cows, £a 15s. to £6 10s.: yearling 6t.ecrs, £2 Is. to £3 35.; yearling 'heifers, £2 7e,; 3-ycar bull*', £5; Z-yoar bulls, £3.
