SFrom a private Letter received in unedni from Alexandra, the "Otago ally Times" learnfj that the weather m Central Otago is hot, but with a nica ; breeze. There' are enormous crops of poaches, plums, apricots, apples, etc., everywhere in the district. The writer says that the sight'of thesj in tlio Earnscleugh " portion of the district greatly impressed Dunedin visitors.
"I trust we shall make yon feel quits at home," remarked the hotel manager. "Don't you try it," expostulated the married man. "I'm away for a good time."
