On Tuesday last His Excellency tho .Governor sent the following telegraphio message for delivery to tlie Officer Commanding the New Zealand Rifle Brigade"Best congratulations to New Zealand Rifle Brigade on their first action. Trust wounded all doing well."' Yesterday the following reply was received:—"Many thanks for Your Excellency's congratulations, whicli have been convoyed to all ranks. Wounded doing very well."
