TEE VALUE OF DIPPING THE LAMBS.
"Dipping properly carried out repays its cost many times over." So wrote the Chief of the Live Stock Division of the Department of Agriculture recently. This is especially so in the case of lambs, where'the advantages of good breeding and a sufficiency of feed are often lort because of parasitic filth. Lambs cannot thrive when infested .with tick. The above statement has been amply proved by Mr. R.'.Bevan, of Manakau, who oil the. 19th inst. wrote:—"l am more than pleased with the QuibellVDip that you sent me. I. dipped four hundred lambs', and I reckon It has put at least 2s. per head ontliSm.
