SUMMARY AND FORECAST AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present Indications are for unsettled and cloudy weather generally, with rain In many parts of the country.' Expcct moderate to strong westerly winds, with a southerly tendency, lor a brief period. Barometer unsteady and probably falling everywhere shortly. The barometer has been very unsteady, and has continued below normal in the south. Moderate to strong south-westerly winds have predominated, and the weatner has been changeable generally, with tain at times ou the East Coast of the Korth Island and in the western and southernmost districts of the South Island. 13.
