LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

EDUCATIONAL REFORM. SHALL WE GERMANISE OUR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM. Sir,—l have indicated in my previous communications tho nature and tho significance of the so-called reforming, but really Germanising, influences at work in certain university circles. In tho course of a- week or two I hope to find time to prepare for publication a detailed and circumstantial account of the history of the so-called "reform" movement at Victoria College. I think I shall be' able to make it perfectly clear that ,the public,- the University Senate, and even the College Council have been kept in almost complete ignorance of the methods of tlie "reformers," and of the real significance of their campaign.—I am, etc., FESTINA LENTE.
