RETURNING SOLDIERS
ALTERATION OF ARRANGEMENTS, A. number of wounded soldiers returning to their homes in New Zealand from' hospitals in , England by the Ruahine were expected to arrive in Wellington to-day from Auckland, and a civic reception had been arranged in their honour by the Mayor of Wellington. _ Owing to the late arrival oft tlio Ruahine in Auckland, however, tlio. southern section of -her soldier passengers will not arrive in Wellington until tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, aud they -will be accorded a civic reception at 5 p.m.' Some twenty-eight men of the Malieno's complement, who have been discharged from the isolation hospital at Auckland arrive this afternoon. The Mayor intends to get into communication with them, and he hopes to be able to arrange that they shall be given a civic reception on the following day, along with the men who have come by the Ruahine.
