The following men have beon enrolled at tho Buckle Street Recruiting Office:— Arnold ltutschi, hospital dresser, City (Ambulance). James Bennett, bushman, City (Infantry). Francis Sutt, labourer, Wadestown (Artillery). A. R. Christensen, labourer, Pongaroa (Infantry). John Welsh, labourer, Masterton (Infantry). Joseph Cotter, labourer, City (Infantry). Harry Urquhart, carpenter, Wanganui (Mounted). John J. O'Sliea, clerk, City (Infantry). John Alexander, seaman, Thorndon (Infantry). C. A: 3, Peterson, horsedriver, City. Alfred L. Duck, City (Signal Service). There is quite a.lot of talk about people exploiting the soldiers, but there is at 'least one Wellington business man who has gone out of his way to offer concwsitus to "our boys." Mr. A. E. M. Rowland, jeweller, 90 Manners Street, offers 15 per cent, special discount oft' all soldiers' requisites, such as wristlet watches, binoculars, etc.—Advt.
