NEARLY £1000 REQUIRED TO-DAY. In order to be able to claim tho generous gift of £2000 by Mrs. M. A. Williams to help wipe out the mortgage on tho Y.M.C.A., nearly £1000 will havo to, be_ raised to-day. Mrs. Williams promised' the £2000 conditionally on the directors of tho Y.M.C.A. "raising tho balance (£3000) within a given time—tho last day of the period being to-day. IJp to yesterday £3392 Is.
