« Messrs. J. B. Speed and T. Dwan, J.i■ s, presided in the Magistrate's Uourt yesterday. - °i*r Edith Birch was fined m., Wm. Brown 10s., John O'Neil 10s . Keo. Murray £2, and Wm. Henderson JS. Geo. Murray was remanded till Jamiiry 3 on « charge of his having broken i prohibition order. Albert Cole was remanded till January o on a charge of the theft of a sot )f carpenter's tools, belonging to Wm. Bird, and worth £1 Bs. Gd. It was stated that he was on probation, grantid him by the Supremo Court, and that if he has committed this now ;hnrgcd against him, the terms of the probation order have been broken.
