Mr. Peter Smith, w'ho has died at llketshall, Suffolk, aged 96, belonged to a family of '25 brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sisters, aged 94 and 82, and one brother, 84. He had nine children, 51 grandchildren; fifty greatgrandchildren, and two great-great-, grandchildren. A special Bible lecture on "The Present AVorld Crisis in the Light of Scripture," will be given this evening, in the Carlton Hall, Vivian Street, by Mr. E. Nelson, travelling lecture of the International Bible .Student's Association. The subject will be illustrated by a largo Chart of the Ages. Admission is free.
