MISHAPS TO SOLDIERS
Trooper Gillip slipped when boarding a tramcar in Lambton Quay yesterday afternoon, and one of his puttees caught in the step. He was dragged along some distance, and when tlio car was pulled up it was found that he was dazed. He now lies' in the Public Hospital suffering from a couple of slight cuts on the head, but his injuries are reported to bo trivial. A soldier named Curtain was admitted to tho Public Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from an apoplectic fit. It is stated that he was picked up on tho Belmont Road, Lower Hutt, by a , passing motor-car. Tlie Hospital reported last nitwit that his condition is mno way serious. . ' . ' s
