The annual cricket match flatween tliß Permanent Staff of t-Le Harbour Board and the Oasua'r Hands, flayed at Newtown Park, resulted in a win for the Permanent Men by 25 runs. The Permanent Staff compiled 147 ' (O'Brien 37, Wrigley 21 not out, Lambert 19, K. Hodgson 19, Myers 17), and the Casual Hands 122 (Johnston 2-1, Dumbloton, junr., 21, Hamilton 16, D. Dumbleton 15, Wlielan 13, Mayer 11). O'Brien and Wright bowled well for the winners, and Dumbleton brothers for tlio Casuals.
