KILLED BY A TRAIN

Hugh M'Leod, a married man, aged 55 years, oil Thursday met with an acjideut which had fatal results. At'B ).m. ho and a companion were riding jicyicles on the railway track between iuru and Moana. . Tho. Otira express or Greymouth ran into M'Leod at the jurve. and his skull was fractured and lis right leg broken. Ho died on the ;rain before arrival at Greymouth. Debased was a sawmill hand, employed by S'vberg Hros., of Ruru. He had no ; a"mily. An inquest was opened, but vas adjourned until Wednesday.
