MOTHER AUBERTS' HOME

People were very , generous to the little children in Mother Mary Aubert's [ Homo of Compassion. The presents , were more durable and more useful than the gifts received in other years, and in that and other ways the war has shown its face in even this ffuiet corner of the.city. The children had their Christmas tree, as usual, and enje.ved the celebration of the feast to the full. The public were not present tlu's year, and many of the donations were in the form of cash, food, and clothing. Some of the frocks sent along were exceptionally pretty and dainty.
