MARIST BROS. OLD BOYS' REUNION
! . The annual reunion of tlio Marist Brothers and the Marist Brothers' Old Boys, was held on Tuesday , evening, wlien Mr. J. Gamble presided over a large attendance of members. Toasts honoured included: "Our Boys at the Front," Rev. Bro. Fidelis, and responded to by Mr. J. Coleman; "The Clergy,'' proposed by Mr. Burke, and responded to by Mr." G. Dee; "Our' Brave Irish Soldiers," proposed by Mr. M. 'Walsh, and resnonded to by Mr. H. M'Keoweu; "Alma "Mater," proposed by Mr. Leo I.eydcn, and responded to by the Rev. Bro. Basil; "Kindred Societies," proposed bv Mr. R. Guise, and responded to by Mr. J. E. Fitzgerald;' "Catholic Education," proposed by Mr. E J. Fitzgibbon, and responded to by Mr. J. J. L. Burko; "Tlie Chairman,' proposed liv.Mr. J. M'Gowaii, and responded to b'v the chairman (Mr. Gamble). The following also contributed to the vocal liart of the programme:—-Rev. Bro. Fidelis, Messrs. F. Walsh, 0. Foote, Malacliy, Taylor, F, AVlutaker (songs), Messrs. E. J. Fitzgibbon, and J. M'Gowan (recitations). The Rev. Bro. Fidelis officiated at the piano. During the evening Mr. E. J. Fitzgibbon announced that a gentleman, who does not wish his name mentioned, had .kindly donated a hat to.the wnnners.of tho match between the at.'Vnne s Club and the Marist Brothers' Cricket Club. Tlio Rev. Bro.' Donatus, chairman of the Marist Old Boys' Association, thanked Mr. Fitzgibbon 011 behalf of the Cnrkct Ohib Mr. Fitzgibbon also stated that Mr MTarland and another aentleiiiaii had kindly donated £1 Is. each tewnrjl the cost of the preparation of- -a M.8.0.8. Roll of Honour.
