OOEINTHIC'S ITINERARY. Having landed her mails and periodicals, the Shaw-Savill E.M.S. Corinthic left for Auckland at noon yesterday to commence aischarge of Home cargo. She is due there on Wednesday, and is expected to clear the northern, port before the Christmas holidays for Wellington. Subsequently the Corinthic will complete . discharge at Lyttelton' and Port Chalmers.'' From the latter port the liner will proceed to Auckland' to load, and on her way down to Wellington will visit Gisborne or Napier- for. the same purpose. .This port should be ' reached January 17, and departuretaken for London, via Monte Video, on January 20. MBSS-TASLE GOSSIP. Captain 'J, .Lambert, late of the Arahura, has recommissioned the Mapourika, and has the following officers with him:— Chief, Mr. W. A. Gray (late second of the Maori); second, Mr. G. H. King (late third . of the PateenaV; chief'engineer, Mr. A. Sadler (late of the -Tarawera); sccond, Mr: J. T. Denniston (late- Ivahike); third, Mr. H. G. Isaac (late Waitomo). Mr. R. Dickey Gate Pateena) is. purser. Sfr. J. A. Cowan ha 6 succeeded Mr. J. Donniston as t) Li r-d engineer of the Kahika. Captain W. Scott has joined the Maori as second officer, temporarily; in place' of Mr. Gray, who has been appointed chief officer of the Mapourika. Captain Stott, Marine Superintendent of Jhc Union Company, has recovered sufficiently to enable him to resume his duties. The Karamu -will not .arrive in port from Suva till oarly this morning. After inspection she will, berth at the -wharf to land a large quantity of Island fruits for the Christmas sales. At 6 p.m. yesterday the Mokoia left tho Bluff for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due here on Thursday, and will leave for Lyttelton the fame evening. Alter making two trips in the ferry service the .Mokoia will leave here for Ho■bart and Melbourne on December 28. Continuing her journey from Liverpool, tho I'. and S. Line's ohartered steamer Paparoa. left Sydney on Sunday for Auckland. She is due here about January 4. An endeavour will be made to dispatch the Union Company's Kauri for Napier and San Francisco this evening. • A. shortage of railway trucks has been responsible for delaying the Komata at Wellington. The Hiiddart-Parker steamer Riverina was duel at Auckland at daybreak to-day from Sydney. On account of her late arrival the vessel's departure on the return trip has been postponed till 3 p.m. to-mor-row. Tho P. and S. Lino's chartered steamer Westmeath left Port Pirie on Sunday for Wellington for orders. The veE6el should arrive off the Heads' on December 28, and will bo sent on to Lyttelton to commence loading wool tor America. The Eaitangatu will load produce at the Bluff about December 24 for Auckland. From the latter port the vessel will proceed to, Kaipara to load timber for Australian ports. On completion of discharge of her Newcastle coal, the Eakanoa will be dispatched for Westport, -where she'will take in a cargo for Auckland.
