The British colony at Sliiraz is still in captivity in the mountains, and there is no news of the British at Yezd. Alter a long captivity tho I British colony at Sultanabad has just arrived. Its deliverance was due to tlie confusion of the enemy in the districts bordering those where the Rus. sians are operating. Tho enemy has taken possession of the cash 'and securities of the English banks at Ispahan, Shiraz, and Yezd. OFFENSIVE REPULSED BY RUSSIAN TROOPS. (Rec. December 20, 8.5 p.m.) Petrograd, December 19. A Russian communique says: "Our Persian forces near ICuchkek, between Teheran and Hamadan, repulsed a considerable offensive.
