Dissensions have already resulted in soine of the party going to Christiania. INTERVIEW WITH MR. FORD. BELLIGERENTS WANT PEACE. Christiania, December 19. Mr. Ford, interviewed at Ohristiania, Norway, said he was not allowed to land at Kirkwall, where he gained the impression that the' British wanted peace; and ho suggested that tho other belligerents likewise wanted it. Mr. Ford added: "The basis must be the 'status quo ante bellum.'" A FOOLS' ERRAND. FORD'S-PILGRIMS CREATE -A! SCENE. (Rec. December 20, 11.20 p.m.) Christiania, December-20. The majority of Ford's pilgrims realise, the fools' errand on which they have come. There was a scene at Christiansand owing to Ford's alleged censoring of journalists' messages. • Inez Boissevain, America's most beautiful Suffragette,. shouted: "If we are going to mediate Europe we must first ..mediate among ourselves." Half-a-dozen delegates commenced to speak simultaneously. Mrs. . Schwimmer, who claims to have inspired. Ford to undertake' the mission, implored the pilgrims to rescue Europe from complete destruction. Other speakers accused the pilgrims of tattling and backbiting. Scandinavian journalists witnessed the scene. ' . Subsequently the members of the mission addressed tho Christiania Students' Union. ■ '
