DOMINION BOWLING TOURNEY
CLOSING DATE OF ENTRIES ' EXTENDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchuroh, December 20. : Entries for the Dominion Bowling Association tournament, commencing at Ohristchurch on January 10, number 62 rinks-r-113 pairs and 86 singles. The tournament committee has extended tho closing date to December 28, in the hope of getting more, as it is desirous of makings the tourney a big affair, the profits of which go to the patriotio funds. Three rinks from the Masterton Bowling Club will visit Wellington for the Christmas tournament. The following is tho result of the Pennant game played between Seatoun and Johnsonville, on Saturday:— Seatoun —Fuller, Paul, Webb, Wyatt (s.), 24; John6onville — Wackrow, Hamilton, Orr, Cook (5.),'11. Seatoun —Meston, Magill, Beeston, Lauohlan (s.), 21; Johnsonville—O'Neill, Embury, Styles, Petrie (s.), 24. Seatoun—M'Farlane, Richards, Alexander, Green (s.), 20; Johnsonville— Sniythe, Robertson, Bethune, Thompson (s.), 23. _ Seatoun —Heath, Berry, _ Bradley, M'Girr (s.), 20; Johnsonrille —Rod, Harrop, Morgan, Turner (s.), 16. Totals—Seatoun, 85; Johnsonville, 74.
