Ferguson, Fenwick Hall, Ernest Taylor, Maud Gason, Myrtle Pope, Marjory Sim. ST. PAUL'S SCHOOL, The annual breaking-up ceremony of St. PaulVDav and Kindergarten School took placo on Thursday. There was a fair attendance of parents and friends, and the children gave them great pleasure with their littlo songs and recitations. The Rev. A; M. Johnson, M.A., vicar of the parish, presented the prizes.- He thanked the children for the entertainment they had ■ given, and the teachers for . their patience and kindness to the children. He mentioned also that ■ the school was under Government inspection, and this'year's report was very much in advance of any previous one. The three candidates for proficiency certificates had been successful, and. the school attendance

average had been such as. to warrant a third assistant next year. The schoolgrounds have bepn further improved, through the generosity of the Education Board and of parents, and the committee hopes to shortly lay down a. tennis court for tho benefit of th.e scholars, Mr. Clark, tho headmaster, and his staff, were heartily thanked for their whole-hearted interest in tho 6chool.
