-a SUICIDE OP A FARMER. (By Teletrraph.—Press Association.) Marton, December 17. James Smith, a farmer at Bonny Glen, Marten, aged sixty-six, committed suicide this morning by shooting himself. REPORTED SUICIDE' OF A 11ECRDIT. HTy. Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Masterton, December 17. It is reported that a recruit named Payne, who entered tho camp at Taulierenikau committed suicide by blowing out his brains with a rovolver tlris evening. He is said to belong 'to Dunedin. • ■
