THE NEW YEAR TOURNEY. A spccial meeting of tlio Wellington Bowling Contra was held last night. Mr. H. J. Palmer (president) was in the chair. The secretary reported that 58 entries had been received for the tournament. It was decided to use five greens—Wellington, Newtown, Hataitai, Thorndon, and Victoria. Following was the draw for the tournament :— SECTION A. Martin (Hataitai) plays Fulton (Karori); Macaskill (Hutt) v. Campbell (Lyall Bay); Hill (Wellington) v.
