Kindergarten celebrated tho closing of the school for tho year with a. Christmas party last evening, the function being largely attended. Among those present were: Mesclames Gill and Dixon and Miss England (members of the executivo) and Miss Riley (principal of the kindergarten). The programme consisted of marching, dancing, and spectacular displays by tho pupils,, who acquitted themselves well. A hearty vote of 1 thanks to the teachers was carried by acclamation, Misses Rilev and Hind-responding. Each little pupil received a gift from the Christmas Tree. The hall was gaily festooned, and the dainty white frocks of the children produced a very pleasing effect.
