. T ■' MEETING OP COMMITTEE. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association Commit-' tee was held at the Civil Service Club Rooms last evening, Mr. C. G. Wilson presiding. Also present were: Messrs. Wills', Willis, MicQahe, and Gibb. Mr. Wills was reappointed treasurer. It was reported that owing to the heavy enlistments among cricketers no fewer than four teams had withdrawn from the juhioi; championship, and that teams in all grades were experiencing difficulty in obtaining players. It was thought, therefore, that Wellington cricketers' were 'taking a very full share of responsibility during the war crisis.. : It was resolved that the games starting' next Saturday would be resumed on January 8. - : - A general discussion took place on the financial position of ,tbe association.
