A SIGNIFICANT MESSAGE. ■ The following telegram was received by the Wellington. Group Office yesterday from the headquarters of the Wellington Military • District':— "Large shortage'of infantry for EleventhReinforcements in other districts. Therefore, in addition to your .quota, warn every man fit and available for infantry on your books to proceed to camp with•Eleventh Reinforcements quota. If' this is impracticable,' send into Trentham every day between-now and 23rd instant and between January 1 and 4 (at latest) every man fit and available for infantry." : .
