Remuera. which arrived from London, via Auckland, yesterday morning, berthed at the King's Wharf • to discharge. From the last-mentioned port the Remuera goes to Napier on December 22, Auckland on December 26, and Wellington December 31. On January 4 departure will bo taken from this port for London. After landing about 800 tons of Greymouth coal- on Monday the Kamona will go on to Lyttelton with the remainder. - Four days were occupied by the Union Company's little steamer Karu on the run between. Wellington and New Plymouth. Hho was severely buffeted by the prevailing, nortli-west winds. The Karu -was scheduled to sail for Wellington last evening, and she will leave here for! Greymouth on Monday. The Hinemoa left the Bluff for West Coast Sounds, Wcstport, Oook Strait light, and Wellington at 4.5 a.m. yesterday. . The New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Century is due here about December 27 , from Brisbane for Homowa-rd loading. Her other ports of call will be Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland. Departure will bo taken from the northern - port for London on January 9. . From Wanganui, for which port the Star of India leaves, to-morrow, she will go on to Waitara, Gisborne,' and Napier. A return visit will be paid to Wellington, and departure taken for Home about tho -first week in January.
